When I think of beautifully designed retail spaces, Aesop is one few brands that, for me, constantly cracks it.
The charm, I believe, is in the ability to adapt each store completely to the story and character of it’s location, whilst retaining that unique brand identity that Aesop have become known for.
It’s rare to see such a globally influential and successful company not reliant of the mainstream advertising machine. Instead of investing in guarantees and promises, the stores and products themselves create the immersive brand experience. It’s no secret that this in itself is Aesop’s USP.
